THE ELDEST MAN IN UGBABE LAND PASSES AWAY, .......HAILS FROM IBENDA OBOLLO.

The eldest man in Ugbabe Land has passed away at over 100 years. Pa Michael Ugwuasogwa until his death is the eldest (Onyishi) man in Ugbabe land. He died at the age of over 100 years at his home town, Ibenda Obollo, Udenu Local Council Area of Enugu state Nigeria. On the 24th of September 2015, the town of Ibenda community witnessed influx of people from all works of life. An event history will always remember. Ibenda Obollo Community has featured in history page to have produced ‘Onyishi’ of the whole Ugbabe Land popularly referred to as ESHA. This has not happened before. The mantle of leadership of Ugbabe Land has gone to Odobido Ada Obollo-Eke where ESHA Boniface Ojobor, has been installed as the Onyishi of Ugbabe Land. ODOBIDO, congratulations!!!. Special thanks goes to Ibenda Obollo Town Union, Enugu Branch for their efforts and financial contributions towards the burial ceremony. Other philanthropist who in one way or the other made the arrangement possible should also be remembered. Thank you all. Let us join hands to have a UNITED IBENDA OBOLLO.
